Sauvignon Verde
Ingredients:
- 4 oz Charlotte’s Home Sauvignon Blanc
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- ½ oz habanero simple syrup (recipe below)
- Splash of sparkling water
- Sea salt or Tajin rim
- Lime slice for garnish
Half-rim a rocks glass with salt or Tajín. Shake Sauvignon Blanc, lime juice, and habanero simple syrup briefly with ice then strain over fresh ice. Top with a small splash of sparkling water if desired and garnish with slice of lime.
Habanero Simple Syrup
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- ½–1 fresh habanero, sliced (seeds removed for less heat)
Bring sugar and water to a gentle simmer, stirring until dissolved. Add habanero slices, remove from heat, and steep 5–10 minutes depending on desired heat. Strain and cool completely.
