Swipe Right Cabernet Elixir
Ingredients:
- 1 bottle Rodney Strong Merlot
- 1 Orange, Sliced and a bit Muddled
- 1 Fuji or Honeycrisp Apple, Sliced
- 1 Cinnamon Stick, Broken in Half
- 1 Star Anise Pod
- 1/4 cup Pomegranate Seeds
- 1/4 cup Brandy (Optional)
- 2–3 tbsp Maple Syrup or Honey (Adjust To Taste)
- 1/4 cup Orange Juice
- Sparkling Water to Finish (Optional)
In a large pitcher, combine the sliced fruit, spices, and pomegranate seeds. Add the Merlot, brandy(if using), orange juice, and maple syrup or honey. Stir gently and refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours (or overnight). Taste and adjust sweetness if needed before serving. Top with sparkling water if desired, and serve over ice.
