Bold and rich, with layers of black plum, forest floor, blueberry, tar, and toast; this impressive, full-bodied wine is aged in French oak, which adds a subtle smoky spice character.

We have been growing grapes in the Dry Creek Valley for more than 40 years. Syrah, the noble grape of France’s Rhône region, has proven to be particularly well-suited to the soils and climate here.
We handcraft this Syrah in our small-lot artisan cellar, where techniques such as cluster pre-sorting, cold soaking and a free run-only protocol allow for true artisan winemaking. All of our Syrah was harvested on October 2nd.
