Inky hued, nearly opaque, with intense aromas of well ripened red and black fruits, toasted earth, and spicy vanilla, this quite rich cabernet is concentrated and expansive on the palate, while remaining round and relatively soft given its ample structure, and is followed by a long, broad and seductive finish.

- Rockaway Vineyard
- Fact Sheet:
The 2007 vintage started off with a very dry spring, which tended to make for smaller clusters, smaller berries, and less canopy overall. The growing season was about as perfect as any winegrower would want, with warm afternoons and cool eventings and a complete lack of hot or cold spells. With no weather problems at harvest time, few are suprised with the exceptional quality of this vintage, which will likely go down as one of the best in recent years.
“94 points - Made from 100% Cabernet grown in a hilly part of the valley...extraordinarily rich and explosive in blackberry tart, black cherry pie and cassis flavors, and feels dramatic in the mouth.”
- Wine Enthusiast April 2011
“90 points - Tight and well-structured, showing complex cedar, tobacco, dried currant and berry flavors, with touches of mineral, nutmeg and black licorice. Full-bodied, well-focused and very detailed on the finish.”
