Once again, you and your colleagues pulled off an outstanding CC Club party. The setting, theme, appetizers and most importantly, the wine were all outstanding. As a bonus, I made some new friends too.
When visiting Rodney Strong throughout the year, it feels like coming home to family. I always enjoy catching up with you, Kat, John and Sheila over a glass of your delicious wine. You guys are the dream team!
For the past 10+ years I have noticed a consistent improvement in everything you do. From your wines that are more refined and elegant with each new vintage to the improvements in your packaging (bottles, labels and marketing collateral). It’s all about the wine but your packaging has been elevated to the quality level of your wines.

I have a funny story for you. We live in a small gated community with 35 homes. Several neighbors routinely have parties. The first time we went, they served inexpensive, bad tasting cabs from the local grocery store, the $6 per bottle stuff. So, after that, we took our own wine (Rodney, of course). Somewhere along the way, we introduced those neighbors to Rodney while they visited our house and wine room. They all now drink Rodney exclusively and have been apologizing for the last three years for serving us bad wine. Now when they call, they ask us to come over for a glass of Rodney.

Why I love the Rodney Strong Collector's Circle Wine Club is easy to describe-the delicious wine, especially the Knotty Vine Zin; the wonderful jazz concerts in the summer and getting a nice discount, as well as a yummy food and wine tasting for members; the fabulous chocolate and wine event in Feb; and of course Katy who makes me feel like I am the most important member! And the tasting room folks are always very friendly, courteous, and make it so fun to taste such wonderful wines! We go to almost every concert every summer, bring a picnic, some Rodney Strong wine, good friends, and listen to a terrific concert under the sun, shade, and then a beautiful sunset! I have belonged to many wine clubs but now just to this one because it is the best!! Thank you for all you do to make life more fun!!

The Rodney Strong Vineyards (RSV) Collector's Circle offers, besides premium access to phenomenally great wine (especially the Reserve Chardonnay), some of the best events and entertainment available in Northern California, considering its Summer Concerts, Annual Wine & Chocolate Fantasy, and the exceptionally unique Lobsterfeed. It is always quite satisfying being able to witness the pride exhibited by RSV employees and staff while they are providing the very best in customer service to wine club members. Katy Turner, “Coordinator Extraordinaire” simply provides the ultimate in hospitable fulfillment while keeping Club members personally informed on the amazing variety of member benefits. At the top of the list is the Rodney Strong concert venue, which is by far “everyone’s” favorite. While in attendance, I feel like I am at the home of a good friend who knows exactly how to make me feel welcomed and relaxed among folks who share my passion for wine and jazz. And the entertainment selection; wow!!! It seems like the musicians are an extension of the RSV family, and just dropped by to enhance the party while lending their special gifts to those who are present.

I joined the Collector’s Circle initially due to the wonderful wines that Rodney Strong consistently produces and I knew I was able to receive a discount for my purchases through the club.
However, I had no idea there were other ‘perks’ for becoming a member - but I have since found out that there are many. Katy and the folks at Rodney Strong do a wonderful job of special events throughout the year that are great fun and tasty. The Christmas party was really wonderful and they even invited Santa – he came too! ƒº Probably my favorite perk comes during the summer with the RS Jazz concerts. We get discounts on the tickets to start with, and then on concert day Katy and the RS staff put on a great spread for all of us along with their superb wines in the Collectors Circle patio. They just take care of you with an easy, sincere smile and a friendliness that tells you they consider you a friend – and that is priceless.

I am honored to be a part of the Collector's Club at Rodney Strong. I've long enjoyed their wines and take them with me when I travel so I know I have a great bottle to open with dinner. Every time I visit the tasting room the staff has been pleasant and eager to share their personal favorites as we work our way through the tasting options. I've had the opportunity to attend concerts, the Harvest BBQ and the Wine & Chocolate Fantasy events each one is a treasured experience. Katy and crew are the best, I love taking friends and family to the winery...I'm never disappointed!

My husband, Kim, and I just wanted to let you know how great the RS Collector’s Circle is! We appreciate the quarterly shipments so we can try something new, but allows us through the year to stock up on our favorites. When my cousin and his wife came from Toronto for a wine country visit recently, we asked if there was something special you could do for us. Wow, we did not expect spectacular! For an organization as large as Rodney Strong is, in the wine industry, we could not have felt more special when walking out your door. Patrick and Andrea will be reminiscing about their trip every time they enjoy a bottle of RS that they brought back with them to Canada. We can’t wait to sit on your lawn and enjoy your summer jazz concerts while sipping a little RS. Thank you for offering a great quality product with a big heart.

Okay, here are my thoughts on Rodney Strong. I currently belong to seven wine clubs but if I could only belong to one, it would be Rodney Strong. Why? Because RS has phenomenal wines and the people who staff the winery are exceptional! If you want to feel special, cared for, and a true friend of a winery, join Rodney Strong. The Tasting Room staff will make you feel as though you are family. Did I mention the Special Events? From Summer Concerts to Holiday events, they know how to throw a party. I love this winery and I love the people who work there.
I could write more but testimonials are fairly short. Besides, I was starting to get mushy. And now I have a hankering for some RS Alden Cab. Mmmmmm... If you need something else, let me know.
Little did we know the wonderful friendship that was waiting for us at the top of the stairs. All of a sudden we were told we were “family.” We were invited to many parties and by now all of our children head for Rodney Strong–not just for the tasting, but for the friendly atmosphere. We were graciously gifted with a discount as everyone else is.
I will never forget going there after my back surgery. My son and his wife visited us and we brought them there for tasting. I could not go up the stairs and waited in the car. Before you knew it, a crew headed down the stairs bottles in hand. Kathleen said “If you can't come up, we can come down to you!”—and we tasted. It’s been a joke that the elevator was installed for “the Switzer’s.” Thanks Rodney Strong.
I came to Rodney Strong Vineyards for the excellent wines...and I stay because of the superlative staff. If you want to experience some of the best things that the wine country has to offer, join the wine club at Rodney Strong Vineyards and see what it’s like to be part of “the Circle!”

As a Collector’s Circle wine club member, your servers are always tops in their friendliness & hospitality when we visit your tasting room; not to mention the knowledge of your wines.
Relative to the varietals we’ve tasted at Rodney Strong–and i think we've tasted them all–they have a consistency of taste & quality, year after year, that is rare in the industry. Why this is important to us is when we develop a taste for a particular wine, we can be assured of the same attributes over the long run, and keeps us as ardent customers just waiting for our next visit. This is certainly an excellent tribute to your winemaker and your staff!

Since moving to Windsor, CA at the end of 2006, the gateway to the Sonoma wine country, we've been overwhelmed by the number of wineries in the surrounding area. Upon visiting Rodney Strong winery and joining their "Collectors Circle", We find it difficult to venture out to others. The "Collectors Circle" membership is great! We are treated like royalty, coupled with a feeling of family coming from every staff member. We have enjoyed the live concerts, and each year the events get better and better. Joining was the best choice.
