Sonoma County Grower Series: Brian & Janice Schmidt of Dry Creek Valley
by Rachel Voorhees on July 1, 2014
Driven by the belief that great wines begin in the vineyard, we are dedicated to using the finest grapes grown in Sonoma County. The success of each vintage and the long-term health of grapevines begin with meticulous dedication to nurturing each and every vine in the vineyards.
We are excited to share our second grower video as part of our Sonoma County Grower Video Series. Brian and Janice Schmidt are Co-Owners and Managers of Tzabaco Rancho Vineyards in Dry Creek Valley. Brian’s great, great grandfather came from the gold fields and bought the property in 1856, a true Sonoma County family! Brian and Janice love being outside to work and their goal is to make the best wine from the best grapes possible.
